How Skinfluencer is Offering Solutions for All Skin Concerns

Skinfluencer was created in response to co-founder Sharin Shafer’s need for a skincare solution.

Despite living between the US, the Middle East and Europe, and being of affluent means Sharin was unable to find adequate treatment to tackle her ongoing melasma. After spending years researching the developments in the aesthetics industry and conferring with medical experts, Sharin set up Skinfluencer to ensure everyone – whatever their skin concern – could have the most beautiful skin possible.

Unlike rival practices, this elite clinic boasts a wide array of unique selling points. Skinfluencer offers non-invasive aesthetic treatments which transform skin on a cellular level. It is essential to be able to treat all skin conditions and types effectively and safely. They also offer treatments which define and refine the body. All treatments are scientifically backed utilising technology that is either FDA or CE approved. “Without scientific evidence to support a technology it will not be utilised in the clinic’s protocols,” says Shafer

Skinfluencer’s expert team has created protocols which uniquely combine and layer energies synergistically to devise a range of exceptional treatments. By manipulating energies such as Radiofrequency, Ultrasound and Light, and ensuring they work in complement to each other, each patented protocol; whose quirky names such as Glow Baby Glow and Pucker Up belie their genius; delivers brilliant results and pushes the boundaries of what is possible to achieve with an aesthetics treatment.

Skinfluencer’s commitment to offering innovative treatments is demonstrated in the way in which its treatment protocols are presented. Protocols are based on desired results and are named accordingly. For example, Under the Skinfluence addresses overall tone, texture, and laxity.

“This is a common concern, but how you treat this concern is different for each client and will change with each advancement in the field,” says Shafer. “Skin conditions are the constant, but how they are treated vary from individuals and over time.”

Skinfluencer feels that skin goals are achieved through both in-clinic treatments and using the correct products to maintain skin health.

At Skinfluencer, they are not limited in what we can deliver. Innovative technology is at the heart of the business, allowing the team to offer multimodal treatment protocols using the best components of the latest technology. This, combined with the unique way in which they layer and combine energies, enables us to tackle even the most difficult-to-treat concerns with little to no downtime. The clinic’s ability to treat all manner of skin concerns can be attributed to it being armed with ALL the latest “hero” technologies such as the Cutera Enlighten III, the Fotona Dynamis Pro, UltraFormer, the Cutera Secret RF, Cutera XEO Limelight, and CoolSculpting – something that few other clinics can boast!

Both the clinicians and concierge team guide clients throughout their journey.

“Clients receive personalised follow up within 12 hours of each treatment and comprehensive, bespoke treatment plans are sent within 24 hours of the initial consultation,” explains Shafer.

Clients are also able to utilise the Skinfluencer Hotline 24/7 to reach a clinician or concierge to discuss any questions or concerns.

“We dispatch skincare products worldwide to accommodate our jet setting clients,” continues Shafer. “New clients receive all paperwork in advance of their appointment so that they may fill it out at their own pace and submit it though a secure link which is GDPR compliant. We invite client feedback following each appointment.”

Skinfluencer’s doctors and aestheticians are global leaders in their fields; all with a minimum of fifteen years of experience and multiple postgraduate or specialised training certifications in advanced techniques. All team members must attend Skinfluencer University, a month-long programme in which they are trained to their functional role.

For clinical staff, in addition to training on each machine, protocol, and product used within the clinic, case studies for multiple skin conditions and types must be completed and signed off by the medical director. They must also become ARA UK certified.

The concierge team members must also complete certification in all skincare products which are used in the clinic, complete over 30 hours of accredited health and safety training and are given luxury training in client service delivery by consultants who work with brands such as Chanel, Dior, and Sotheby’s.

Not only does the clinic house state-of-the-art technology, but its interiors were designed to put clients at ease, appeal to both men and women, and to offer the feeling of a boutique hotel.

To communicate her vision for Skinfluencer’s interiors to the design team, Sharin used examples such as Celine, Dior, and Hermès, which are all heritage fashion brands, as these represent quality, luxury, and longevity and yet they always remain relevant and fresh. This is her vision for Skinfluencer—to be that trusted heritage brand within the aesthetics industry that represents uncompromising quality and luxury.

“I believe luxury includes quality, sustainability and an elegance that transcends time and trends,” explains Shafer. “Luxury is also about not cutting corners and doing what is right and also about subtle details that make you feel comfortable and cared for, which is what she wants the Skinfluencer experience to represent. The chic interiors are just one part of what makes Skinfluencer a luxury experience for its clients.”

Sharin’s vision was always for Skinfluencer to be a global aesthetics brand and so Skinfluencer is primed to open branches in international hotspots so that clients can continue their treatment protocols, without compromise, wherever life may take them.

“As many of our clientele are global travellers, we want them to enjoy the same Skinfluencer experience, wherever they may be,” says Shafer. “We also have an innovative product range currently in development that will complement our treatments.”
