Paola’s BodyBarre announces expansion plans following 10 years of success

Paola’s BodyBarre (PBB), a leading fitness method renowned for its unique blend of ballet, Pilates, and yoga-inspired workouts, is proud to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. Founded by renowned fitness expert Paola Di Lanzo, the PBB method has become a staple in the fitness industry, empowering clients to achieve their health and wellness goals through innovative and dynamic exercise routines.

A decade ago, trailblazer Paola Di Lanzo envisioned a revolutionary approach to fitness, one that combined the best elements of various disciplines to create a workout experience like no other. With the launch of Paola’s BodyBarre, she introduced Londoners to a transformative fitness method that not only sculpts and tones the body but also enhances flexibility, fosters mindful movement, and empowers individuals to become stronger versions of themselves.

“At the time of PBB’s launch, traditional Pilates studios were the norm, but I saw an opportunity to offer something truly innovative,” said Paola Di Lanzo, Founder of Paola’s BodyBarre. “I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come since then, and it’s been inspiring to witness the impact PBB has had on our clients’ lives. From our humble beginnings to becoming a leader in the fitness industry, it has been an incredible journey.”

Paola’s BodyBarre began as a studio on a residential street in Fulham which saw fitness enthusiasts flocking across London to try Paola’s unique fusions. Having outgrown the studio within a matter of months, Paola closed the original location in favour of a larger space just off Bishops Park which remains the flagship studio and sees 2,500 slots filled every month.

Paola’s unique method combined with her commitment to innovation and authenticity has seen her form many partnerships over the years with well-known studios and companies such as Sweaty Betty, GAP, Hot Spot, Detox Kitchen, Movement Method and  KXU (where PBB remains to this day).

“As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are so thrilled to announce the launch of the PBB Method into MAD, a Hollywood-style Lagree studio opening in Mayfair in June where we will be offering 20 weekly classes,” added Di Lanzo. “This expansion reflects our dedication to making the PBB experience accessible to even more individuals who are seeking effective, enjoyable, and transformative fitness solutions.”

The launch of the PBB Method into MAD follows quickly after PBB’s hugely successful partnership with boutique fitness studio, Studio Fix in Kensington where PBB is one of the most popular classes.

Behind all this success is Paola’s mantra “If you fall down, your next step is to get back up again.” Reflecting on the past decade, Paola adds: “My biggest learning over the past 10 years, which has been a real case of trial and error, is to never compare yourself. Whilst it is important to move with the trends in order to stay relevant, you’ve got to ensure that you stay true to yourself, your values and your mission”

Helping to spread the method further, PPB is also accessible via the Paola’s BodyBarre at-home app, which offers over 267 workouts, along with a range of nutritious recipes, challenges, and meditations to support clients on their fitness journey. The app, which has over 600 subscribers, embodies PBB’s commitment to innovation and accessibility, providing users with the tools they need to achieve their health and wellness goals anytime, anywhere.

Looking ahead, Paola’s BodyBarre remains committed to its mission of empowering individuals to prioritize their health and well-being through dynamic and effective workouts. As the fitness landscape continues to evolve, PBB remains at the forefront, inspiring clients to embrace movement, creativity, and authenticity.
