For those seeking the latest in sustainable fashion, The Livat Market is the perfect springtime destination! From Monday 25th March – Sunday 21st April, Livat Hammersmith will be hosting a sustainable Livat Spring Market, the latest in its seasonal Livat Market series.
Hot on the heels of December’s Festive fair, this spring will see the Livat Market return, once again bringing the latest in sustainable fashion, independent small businesses and up-and-coming designers to West London. The Livat Spring Market will be open from Wednesday to Sunday (from 27th – 31st March) and Thursday to Sunday (4th – 21st April) from 11:30am-6:30pm and 11am – 5pm on Sundays.
Following the success of previous market events, the pop-up market will feature a selection of innovative and eco-conscious brands, offering everything from circular fashion and accessories to home goods and gifts. And if that wasn’t enough, the traders will be on rotation – meaning every time you come back, there will be something new!
For those who like a party, all are welcome to join the free opening night event on 27th March (6-9pm), for an evening of late night shopping, immersive activities, drinks and a DJ set.
Looking for something new but want to reduce your clothes waste and minimise your impact on the planet? Back by popular demand, Livat Hammersmith will also be hosting its latest Spring Clothes Swap – one of the ongoing seasonal swaps the meeting place has hosted. In collaboration with Hammersmith BID, visitors can give their wardrobe a sustainable spring makeover, swapping old and unwanted items for a whole new set of equivalent gems! The swap will run from Monday 25th- Friday 29th March (11am – 5pm) or Wednesday 27th March (11am – 8pm).
Over the past year alone, Livat Hammersmith Clothes Swaps have saved over 400 kg of clothing waste! That is equivalent to over 1,000 items that have been swapped and saved. To participate, visitors simply need to bring up to six unwanted items to exchange. The event will operate on a first come, first served basis – so bring down those unwanted items early!
Contributing to the local circular economy, both the Livat Spring Market and Spring Clothes Shop events support Livat Hammersmith’s ongoing dedication to sustainable consumption and a circular economy.
