PLATMA at GITEX 2025: Bank 6.0 turns banks into 24/7 business partners

GITEX GLOBAL 2025 concluded in Dubai on October 17, bringing together more than 6,800 exhibitors, 2,000 startups from 180 countries, and 1,200 investors. The five-day event at Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour featured developments in AI, cybersecurity, quantum computing, digital health, and biotechnology, alongside investment deals and strategic partnerships. Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport announced 19 partnerships on the second day alone, covering AI-powered public services, real estate, smart cities, and mobility. The agreements marked the department’s largest single-day partnership announcement during its participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025.

Among the key sessions at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 was a virtual discussion between OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and G42 Group CEO Peng Xiao on the development of AI-native societies and the role of international partnerships in the global AI economy. The event also brought together ministers and senior government officials from the UAE, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America to address AI regulation, digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, and cross-border data governance. Discussions focused on international cooperation on AI infrastructure, signalling a global turning point: nations are no longer catching up with innovation; they are now the co-architects.

At GITEX 2025, PLATMA presented Bank 6.0, a next-generation operating system that helps banks act as round-the-clock partners for their business clients. Deployed on a bank’s own servers, it enables secure, real-time SME data sharing for precise credit scoring, automated loan origination and hyper-personalised financial services. These results establish PLATMA not only as another financial platform but also as a tool for economic empowerment in developing markets.

Banks using the system report 16% growth in upselling, a 25% expansion of SME credit portfolios, and faster product launches. Jean Kluschke, Strategic Business Development Lead behind PLATMA’s revolutionary product, said: ‘PLATMA Bank 6.0 was designed to address a fundamental challenge in banking: enabling financial institutions to deliver personalised services while improving operational efficiency. The reported growth and expansion demonstrate the potential business impact of combining real-time data and flexible product architecture.’

PLATMA has raised over $3 million from investors including Almaz Capital, Alchemist, StartupWiseGuys, Aloqa Ventures and UZCARD, and its recent $40 million valuation reflects strong momentum and a scalable business model. The low-code market is growing rapidly: Gartner forecasts that the global low-code development technologies market will reach $58.2 billion by 2029, expanding at a CAGR of 14.1%. Key growth drivers include agentic AI, citizen development, and the growing need for operational efficiency.

Over the past year, PLATMA has expanded its presence across Central Asia and the Gulf, securing partnerships with major financial institutions and enterprise clients. Its partners include Uzbekistan’s UZCARD network, which connects more than 35 banks, alongside businesses in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

The company also gained international recognition at the Dubai AI & Web3 Festival, organised by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), where PLATMA emerged as a winner of the FutureTech World Cup 2024, highlighting its growing presence in the region’s AI and fintech sectors.

At GITEX GLOBAL 2025, PLATMA showcased its AI-powered no-code solutions, demonstrating how businesses can automate workflows and streamline operations. The exhibition provided an opportunity to engage with regional enterprises, government digitalisation initiatives, and financial institutions, while exploring potential partnerships across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
