Opening at 12pm on Tuesday 6th October 2026 at Broughton Shopping Park, the brand-new Slim Chickens drive-thru will give every guest arriving in a red car FREE Chicken Tenders on opening day.
The first 5,000 guests through the drive-thru will get their hands on a limited-edition Slims Driver’s Licence, with every single one unlocking a guaranteed prize – and one lucky driver taking home the ultimate reward – FREE SLIM CHICKENS FOR LIFE!

To celebrate its first drive-thru, Slim Chickens is dropping 5,000 exclusive Slims Driver’s Licences.
The first 5,000 guests through the Broughton drive-thru in north Wales will receive their very own limited-edition licence, complete with a unique code.
Guests simply need to download the Slim Chickens UK app, enter their code and discover what reward has landed in their wallet – giving them another very good reason to pull back into the drive-thru.
All 5,000 Slims Driver’s Licences will unlock something for free on the guest’s next visit, with prizes including Fresh Tenders, Classic Sandwiches, Hand-spun Shakes, Texas Toast and more.
But hidden among the 5,000 licences is the ultimate prize, one lucky Broughton guest will win free Slim Chickens for life, with one free chicken meal every week, for life!
Anyone arriving at the Broughton drive-thru in a red car on opening day will receive free Chicken Tenders and one of Slim Chickens’ famous house dips, celebrating the brand’s iconic red and the launch of the new drive-thru.
Chicken fans planning to arrive on foot can get in on the action too, with the first 50 people in the queue receiving free Chicken Tenders.
Games, giveaways and interactive experiences will also run throughout the day, turning the first Slim Chickens drive-thru opening into a full-on celebration.
The Broughton opening represents a major step forward for Slim Chickens and Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), the UK Master Franchise partner for the brand, as Slim Chickens expands beyond its established restaurant model and into the drive-thru market in Great Britain.
Broughton will act as the blueprint for the next stage of Slim Chickens’ growth, with ambitions to take the drive-thru concept across England and plans for further locations as the brand continues to expand its footprint and reach new guests.

The new Broughton restaurant will serve the full Slim Chickens menu, including its famous fresh, buttermilk-marinated chicken tenders, hand-breaded to order, alongside wings, stacked sandwiches, wraps and salads.
Guests can also tuck into Hand-spun Shakes, Texas Toast and Slim Chickens’ famous selection of 15 signature house sauces, giving them plenty of options for finding their perfect chicken-and-sauce combination.
