Harry Potter fans have a new destination to explore in central London, as the Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street officially opened its doors on Wednesday 4 November 2026.
The new store, located at The Ribbon, 134-140 Oxford Street, welcomed its first customers at 10am, following an opening celebration that attracted fans who had begun gathering outside the previous evening.
Actor Warwick Davis officially opened the shop before the first customers stepped inside. Fans attending the opening morning also received a special commemorative badge to mark the occasion.
“I’m honoured to be opening London’s first official flagship Harry Potter Shop,” said Warwick Davis. “It’s such a special place and a brand-new way for fans to experience the magic.”
Reflecting on the store’s attractions, he added: “From the replica of my Griphook costume to the Hogwarts Bear Ceremony, all the way up to the Leaky Cauldron, I’ve loved seeing everything the shop has to offer and can’t wait to welcome fans in.”
Exclusive products for Oxford Street
The new shop brings together a collection of products created especially for the Oxford Street location, giving visitors access to items not available elsewhere.
Highlights include a London Harry Funko Pop and a Diagon Alley wand, both exclusive to the store. There is also a limited-edition MinaLima Oxford Street print, with only 500 available.
Visitors can explore further merchandise through the Oxford Street Butterbeer packaging, a new Leaky Cauldron collection and a Black & Gold Oxford Street range featuring clothing, accessories and homeware.
New experiences for Harry Potter fans
Beyond its exclusive merchandise, the shop offers visitors opportunities to take part in experiences inspired by the Wizarding World.
The new Hogwarts Bear Ceremony allows fans to create and dress their own house bear, while the Gringotts Adventure scavenger hunt takes visitors on a trail across the Oxford Street and King’s Cross shops.
The opening marks the arrival of the first Harry Potter UK flagship store, bringing together exclusive merchandise, interactive experiences and themed spaces in one of London’s busiest shopping destinations.
