The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, announces the celebration of its milestone 100th global fair edition, marking over a decade of pioneering efforts in democratising the art world by connecting emerging and independent artists with art buyers globally.
Since its inception, the fair has provided a platform for nearly 10,000 artists to sell over 100,000 artworks, transforming the careers of countless emerging artists and generating more than $50,000,000+ in art sales. The Other Art Fair London is set to celebrate this momentous milestone by presenting their biggest edition to date by showcasing 200 emerging and independent artists, live performances, and memorable experiences for art enthusiasts and collectors.
Founder Ryan Stanier said about this momentous occasion
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past decade. Our 100th global fair edition is not just a celebration of our journey, but a testament to the incredible talent of the artists we work with. We believe in creating opportunities for artists to thrive, and we’re committed to helping them build sustainable careers. We’re excited to continue pushing boundaries and making art accessible to all.”
From First Sale to Lasting Impact: Honouring Dan Hillier’s Legacy
For the 100th global fair edition, The Other Art Fair is honoured to pay tribute to the late Dan Hillier, a master of collage known for his intricate works that blend Victorian motifs with surreal elements of nature and the arcane. Hillier, who was the first artist to ever sell at the fair, deeply influenced its direction through his popularity and feedback. The special relationship he shared with founder Ryan Stanier was foundational, highlighting the fair’s commitment to nurturing emerging artists. This edition will feature a curated selection of Hillier’s most iconic pieces, exclusive works available for sale, alongside special events that celebrate both his legacy and the fair’s decade of fostering artistic careers. Stanier reflects on the fair’s growth and Hillier’s significant impact, noting,
“For me, Dan Hillier wasn’t just a friend but a reflection of the fair story in itself. He was the very first artist I selected, his artwork was the first the fair ever sold and he then went on to become the fair’s best seller. Attendees would turn up just to meet him. He became our first touring Guest Artist showcasing in cities Los Angeles and Dallas which led him onto bigger things with a sold out solo show at the Saatchi Gallery in 2016. His achievements reflect the fair’s mission of supporting artists as they expand their careers and reach new heights, as Hillier did.”
As we celebrate our 100th global fair edition, The Other Art Fair proudly acknowledges the lasting legacy of Dan Hillier, whose visionary art continues to inspire both our community and the wider art world.
Building The Other Art Fair Ethos
From the very beginning, Ryan Stanier, the founder of The Other Art Fair, envisioned an event that did more than showcase art—it would also serve as a force for positive change. With a steadfast commitment to making a difference, the fair has consistently provided a platform for good, raising awareness and support for charities that address pressing global issues. Each edition is thoughtfully aligned with community groups and initiatives, helping to amplify their causes and empower their efforts. This integration of art with activism reflects the core of The Other Art Fair’s brand— dedicated not just to the amplification of artist profiles but to nurturing a better and more aware society.
At this edition we are excited to partner once again with Choose Love, our 2024 Charity Partner.

Showcasing Tastemakers
The Other Art Fair has become renowned as a place where attendees discover not only the next generation of emerging artists but also the tastemakers—DJs, tattoo artists, collectives, and brands—who shape culture before it becomes mainstream.
For the 100th global fair edition, tattoo artist Suki has created a flash sheet of her signature design that features intricate, hand-drawn illustrations. Music tastemakers, the all female collective Club Lune Bleue, will serve a live playlist of the city’s freshest sounds curating the vibes of the 100th global fair edition in London all weekend long. Adding to the cultural crafting of this milestone edition, the London-based collective RIOT SOUP will be hosting drop-in zine-making workshops. Founded in 2019, RIOT SOUP is a grassroots collective of Black and Brown women artists committed to addressing racism and inequality in the arts. In addition, JEALOUS will be joining us onsite to perform live screen printing, as well as dropping exclusive prints from notable artists including Dave Buonaguidi. Visitors to the fair are invited to try their hand at screen printing with the JEALOUS team on hand to demonstrate the process, free of charge. In celebration of The Other Art Fairs 100th global fair edition, these collaborations perfectly align with The Other Art Fair’s continued mission to uplift diverse voices, open discussions and create an inclusive space where art and culture intertwine.
Fates Foretold by The Misfortuneteller
Writer and Artist The Misfortuneteller left the creativity of advertising behind where he had worked on brands that include Nike, Pimm’s, and Oasis to become the world’s most pessimistic fortune teller. At The Other Art Fair’s 100th global fair edition, The Misfortuneteller will be bringing his unique brand of performance art to life, offering attendees the chance to have their misfortunes told. What began as a spontaneous idea at his first art fair—born out of a desire to avoid awkwardly standing by his artwork—quickly turned into a crowd-drawing sensation. His darkly humorous prophecies have since captivated people around the world. Now, fairgoers can experience this one-of-a-kind interaction firsthand, as The Misfortuneteller taps into the spirit world to craft personalized, hand-quilled prophecies, that are as intriguing as they are memorable, to take home and frame. Warning: fragile souls need not apply. Each session will be first come first serve, with a take home artwork for £45.

The Other Art Fair’s Partnership with Central Saint Martins Continues to Shape the Art Vanguard

Today, The Other Art Fair’s New Futures programme is excited to continue this legacy by showcasing the next generation of exceptional artists from Central Saint Martins, UAL. The University is renowned for producing exceptional artistic talent, and this is a unique opportunity for attendees to discover these artists at the early stages of their careers. This edition will feature works by two talented graduates, Charlotte Bassadone and Sophie Ives.
