The Yards is getting experimental with its drinks this London Cocktail Week

The Yards in Covent Garden, a vibrant hub for food, drinks, and entertainment, is getting creative and offering new cocktails this London Cocktail Week. Two of its venues, Lahpet and Cafe Pacifico, are set to take centre stage during this celebration of cocktails and mixology.

Lahpet, known for its innovative approach to Burmese cuisine and cocktails, is partnering with the Liana Collection to offer a trio of delectable Negronis. These exclusive Negronis have been carefully crafted to tantalise the taste buds, featuring unique combinations that promise a delightful experience for cocktail enthusiasts. The Negronis on offer include:

  • Sunset in Bagan – A refreshing blend of Hayman’s Old Tom Gin, Amaro Santoni, Regal Rogue Wild Rose, and Pineapple
  • Lahpet Signature – A signature mix of Ramsbury Estate Gin, Amaro Santoni, Regal Rogue Bold Red, and Botivo
  • Mandarina – A zesty concoction of Dangerous Don Mandarina Mezcal, Amaro Santoni, and Regal Rogue Bold Red

Celebrate London Cocktail Week with a touch of Mexican flair at Café Pacifico, the charming tequila bar and restaurant nestled in the heart of The Yards. With a LCW festival wristband, try the enchanting “Paloma Suave” for £8. This tantalising creation features Blanco tequila, raspberry-infused Aperol, pink grapefruit soda, agave nectar, lime juice, and grapefruit juice, all elegantly topped with a homemade raspberry foam.

Café Pacifico has played a significant role in the surge of Mexican restaurants’ popularity in the UK, as it was one of the first UK tequila bars back in 1982. The bar offers an array of Mexican beers, cocktail pitchers perfect for sharing and an extensive selection of tequila and mezcal. Notably, Café Pacifico has been showcasing top-quality agave spirits from the very beginning, including some lesser-known gems like bacanora, raicilla, or sotol.

Lynne Henderson, Marketing & Community Manager at The Yards, comments, “We can’t wait to welcome visitors to The Yards for a memorable journey of taste and creativity this London Cocktail Week. Lahpet and Temper have prepared some truly exceptional cocktails, creating an exciting twist on classic drinks. Experience the unique combination of flavours, atmosphere, and character at The Yards.”

London Cocktail Week is the perfect opportunity for visitors to discover the unique and diverse flavours offered at The Yards. The celebration will run from the 12th to the 22nd of October, giving cocktail enthusiasts a chance to savour these exclusive creations, exclusively at The Yards.
