Female entrepreneur, Becky Wall BEM, is celebrating after being named a finalist in the Best Businesswomen Awards 2025 in the Lifetime Achievement category.
The finalists for the prestigious Best Businesswomen Awards 2025 have been revealed and Becky Wall BEM founder of Loo of the Year Awards and A Plush Flush has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Lifetime Achievement award.
“I am incredibly honoured to be named in the Lifetime Achievement category of the Best Businesswomen Awards this year alongside other amazing women. I’m proud to be a woman in business and it’s wonderful to be recognised among so many proactive women across many sectors,” said Becky.
Established in 2005, Becky Wall BEM and Charles Wall created A Plush Flush. Based in Herefordshire, their business has been providing luxury mobile facilities for any occasion for 20 years around the UK.
A Plush Flush were active recipients of The Loo of the Year Awards from 2009. In April 2021, Becky and Charles were appointed directors of Loo of the Year Awards, and took the helm of the grading and awards system which is marking 38 years of celebrating away-from-home washrooms.
Both of Becky’s businesses champion better toilets for all—whether by celebrating washroom excellence through the Loo of the Year Awards or by delivery high quality mobile facilities through A Plush Flush. Becky’s contribution to her business and the wider sector of facilities management has not gone unnoticed. Well over 1,500 venues take part in the Loo Of The Year awards each year and their popularity is growing as venues offering out-of-home washrooms realise the importance of offering excellent facilities.
“To have my work within the toilet industry recognised on such a respected national platform is both humbling and deeply meaningful,” said Becky. “From championing washroom standards through the Loo of the Year Awards to redefining portable toilets with A Plush Flush, I have always believed that toilets matter, and I am proud to be helping raise awareness, dignity, and expectations across the UK.”
The Best Businesswomen Awards were established to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women across all industries. These awards celebrate the achievements of women who are not only building successful businesses but also breaking down barriers, creating impact, and inspiring others to follow.
Debbie Gilbert, founder of the Best Businesswomen Awards, commented on the achievement of those who have reached the final round of these awards.
“This is the 11th year of these awards, and once again, we’ve seen an incredible calibre of entries,” said Debbie. “Despite the mounting pressures faced by women in business, from funding gaps to rising costs to the mental load of balancing life and leadership, these finalists have shown that female entrepreneurship is stronger than ever. Our judging panel was truly impressed by the standard of entries, and we’re proud to shine a light on these trailblazing women.”
Winners of The Best Businesswomen Awards will be announced at the Gala Awards Night at the Daventry Court Hotel, Daventry, on 10th October 2025. The photograph shows Becky winning a special recognition award in 2024.
