The much-loved Chelsea Barracks Winter Fair returns on 28–29 November, bringing together more than 30 independent brands, festive traditions and family experiences.
The Chelsea Barracks Winter Fair will return on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026, transforming the elegant surroundings of Garrison Square into a festive destination for Christmas shopping, independent design and seasonal celebrations.
Now in its fourth year, the Winter Fair has become an anticipated fixture in Belgravia’s festive calendar, offering a carefully curated alternative to London’s larger Christmas markets. Bringing together independent designers, makers and artisans alongside seasonal entertainment and family-friendly activities, the two-day event celebrates the best of British creativity while embracing the traditions that make Christmas so special.
At the heart of the fair is the Winter Artisans’ Market, with this year’s edition being the largest yet, welcoming more than 30 independent brands, with ten additional exhibitors joining the line-up compared with 2025. With at least 80% of participating brands changing each year, visitors can look forward to discovering new names, distinctive designs and thoughtful gifts that offer something a little different from the high street.

The 2026 selection brings together an eclectic mix of established names and emerging creative talent, with a focus on craftsmanship, originality and considered design. Visitors can explore handcrafted ceramics from Langtons Pottery and Jess Ellis Ceramics, alongside decorative pieces and homeware from Notswolds, Hall & Wall and Ley Lines. For those seeking something luxurious, Eldon London will showcase its cashmere, while jewellery and accessories from Chalk Jewellery and Domenica Marland offer distinctive pieces to treasure.
The market will also feature bath and body collections from Abahna, with artists and creatives including Nicky Dupont, Rosanna Falconer and Heather Evelyn adding to the varied offering. Spanning art, fragrance, candles, books, stationery and artisanal food, the line-up promises plenty of inspiration for Christmas gifting, whether searching for a special piece for the home, a beautifully made accessory or a thoughtful present for someone who appreciates independent craftsmanship.
More than simply a shopping destination, the Winter Fair champions small businesses and creative entrepreneurs, providing a platform for specialist makers to share their work with a wider audience. Since the introduction of its Spring and Winter Fairs, Chelsea Barracks has supported more than 75 independent brands, reinforcing its commitment to celebrating creativity and bringing together distinctive retail experiences with a strong sense of community.
Beyond the market stalls, the fair will embrace the magic of Christmas with a programme of seasonal experiences for visitors of all ages. Father Christmas will return to Chelsea Barracks, accompanied by real reindeer, with complimentary visits available to book in advance. Festive food and drink, seasonal entertainment and the estate’s beautifully landscaped public gardens will provide a picturesque setting for a weekend of Christmas celebrations.
Families can enjoy the opportunity to meet Father Christmas, while visitors looking for a more relaxed festive outing can browse the market, discover independent brands and enjoy the atmosphere of one of London’s most elegant neighbourhoods. The combination of shopping, entertainment and traditional seasonal experiences makes the fair an appealing destination for residents and visitors alike.
The event’s growing popularity reflects the appetite for experiences that bring people together while offering something distinctive. In 2025, the Winter Fair welcomed approximately 1,800 visitors per day, with attendance expected to increase further in 2026. Its continued success demonstrates the appeal of a more personal approach to Christmas shopping, where the emphasis is on discovery, quality and supporting independent businesses.
“We’re delighted to welcome the Winter Fair back to Chelsea Barracks for its fourth year,” said Debora Fisher-Smith, Head of Placemaking & Partnerships at Chelsea Barracks. “Now an established highlight of our seasonal calendar, the Winter Fair brings together a considered collection of independent brands, festive experiences and seasonal traditions in the distinctive setting of Chelsea Barracks. This year, we look forward to building on that success with an expanded edit of exceptional independent businesses, thoughtful experiences and festive entertainment for all ages.
“At its heart, the Fair reflects our commitment to creating a vibrant lifestyle destination, where distinctive retail and community come together to create memorable moments. We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to experience the magic of the season with us at Chelsea Barracks.”
Set against the distinctive architecture and landscaped gardens of Chelsea Barracks, the Winter Fair offers an opportunity to enjoy the festive season at a gentler pace, bringing together the pleasure of finding something unexpected with the warmth of familiar Christmas traditions.
As the fair continues to grow, it remains rooted in its original purpose: celebrating independent craftsmanship, supporting emerging talent and creating meaningful experiences for the local community. With its largest-ever selection of exhibitors, a thoughtfully curated market and festive activities for the whole family, the Chelsea Barracks Winter Fair promises to be a highlight of London’s Christmas season.
