Dressed to kill: Frankenstein, Dracula and Mummy walk Beavertown’s ‘Dead Carpet’ premiere at iconic London cinema

Last night, Beavertown’s ‘Dead Carpet’ brought horror and high fashion together in a spine-chilling spectacle that had passers-by stopping in their tracks outside London’s iconic Prince Charles Cinema. As Beavertown kicked off their week-long celebration of horror films, curious onlookers formed crowds around the famous Soho venue, eager to catch a glimpse of the monstrous stars.

Horror icons like Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, and the Bride of Frankenstein took centre stage, strutting down the Dead Carpet in a show-stopping blend of ghoulish glamour and couture for a special screening of The Exorcist. With paparazzi flashing their cameras and fans lining the sidelines, the event had all the glamour of a red carpet—with a dark twist.

Dracula wowed onlookers in a luxe tuxedo featuring rich damask, brocade, and velvet textures, complete with a dramatic cape and bejeweled shoulders. Frankenstein’s towering figure turned heads in an oversized suit with padded shoulders and “New Rock” platform boots, featuring a hand-painted Beavertown skull logo on the back. Meanwhile, the Bride of Frankenstein dazzled the crowd in a flowing white robe, her limbs wrapped in satin, and Beavertown skull diamante accessories adding a glamorous edge.

From October 23rd to 31st, Beavertown is inviting horror fans and thrill-seekers to immerse themselves in seven nights of terrifying entertainment as the “Beavertown Screamings” series transforms the Prince Charles Cinema into a horror haven. Each night promises live elements designed to leave audiences jumping out of their seats.

Inside the cinema, the atmosphere was electric, as the bar had been transformed into a nostalgic video store filled with classic horror VHS tapes and memorabilia, offering a selection of Beavertown’s beers to enhance the experience.

The week-long lineup includes iconic films such as The Lost Boys and Nosferatu, making it the perfect destination for horror buffs and film lovers alike. With crowds still buzzing from last night’s kickoff, there’s no doubt Beavertown Screamings is the talk of the town.
