London-based Meditation Candle Business Shō-moon gets a business boost from Theo Paphitis.
A London meditation candle brand has received a business boost from Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis. Last week, Juliette Petit, owner of Shō-moon, met Theo Paphitis to receive her certificate at the SBS Event 2024 in Birmingham which this year had special guest Stacey Solomon. Juliette Petit, owner of Shō-moon, pitch was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet or repost by Theo to his over half a million Twitter and Instagram followers. The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 3,500 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.
Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed Shopkeeper, Theo re‐tweeted Shō-moon pitch to his over 500,000 Twitter and Instagram followers and as a result, www.sho-moon.com https://www.instagram.com/shomoon_official/ has gained more followers and extra orders for their one of a kind natural meditation candles and candle refills. They are also profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.
Juliette said, “We’ve been in business for just over a year and have recently relocated our business to London from the Netherlands. All our candles are hand-poured by myself in small batches. What sets our candles apart from other candle brands out there is not only the ingredients we use but also the Reiki-meditation that comes with each candle. Each candle comes with a meditation linked to the candle’s intention (Energise, Flow, and Calm), accessible via a QR code under the candle lid. Our candles are vegan, non-toxic, cruelty-free, and completely natural. The choice of ingredients really sets our brand apart; not only do we use sustainably sourced coconut & rapeseed wax—contrary to most candle brands— we do not use any synthetic fragrance oils. Instead, we pride ourselves on using 100% pure essential oils that do not contain any synthetic fragrance oils or boosters. Each blend has been carefully selected for its aromatherapeutic benefits to uplift your meditation. We wanted to take our commitment to sustainability further and now also offer candle refills and candle refill subscriptions. We are so grateful for Theo Paphitis’ recognition and being part of the SBS community.”
Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Shō-moon every success.”
Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo should tweet on Twitter or do an Instagram post to him about their business on Sunday between 5 PM and 7.30 PM and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are re‐tweeted every Monday at 8 PM and then invited to enter their profile on the new website, attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of the networking opportunities.
