PLANT-BASED BRAND’S CHRISTMAS OFFERING LAUNCHES AT SPITALFIELDS’ UNITY DINER
Moving Mountains® (www.movingmountainsfoods.com), the pioneering British food tech company, has partnered with London’s biggest vegan restaurant and cocktail bar, Unity Diner (www.unitydiner.co.uk), to launch a mouth-watering festive menu, which includes Non-Pigs in Blankets (£6 per portion) and a delicious burger serve, the Festive Feast Burger (£13 [per portion).
The menu, which is available from today until 23rd December 2023 at the restaurant, features a host of classic festive treats that customers will know and love, all with a plant-based twist. Choices include the Moving Mountains® Festive Feast Burger, featuring the Great Taste Award winning Moving Mountains® burger, covered in the recently launched Moving Mountains® melted vegan cheese, Moving Mountains® bacon rashers, and filled with a charred sprout slaw, smothered in cranberry sauce, all served in a toasted brioche bun. And, knowing that December wouldn’t be complete without gorging on Non-Pigs in Blankets, Moving Mountains® has created a vegan version of the classic snack, featuring its sausages wrapped in its brand-new bacon. For every portion of Pig in blankets sold, 100% of the profits will be donated to Surge sanctuary: https://www.surgesanctuary.org/
Moving Mountains® says: “Unity Diner is London’s biggest and best vegan restaurant and cocktail bar, making them the perfect partner for our first ever Moving Mountains® festive menu. Christmas is synonymous with great food, and Unity Diner have created some amazing dishes using our plant-based products which taste just as good, if not better, than the traditional and meat-filled originals. Our mission at Moving Mountains is to create a solution for food that is sustainable but doesn’t compromise on taste, and this menu shows that even festive favourites can be made better for our health and for the planet.”
Ed Winters, Founder of Unity Diner says: “We are really excited to be partnering with Moving Mountains to launch this festive menu. They are a brand whose ethos and mission aligns so closely with our own.”
Unity Diner is located at 60 Wentworth Street, London, E1 7AL

About Moving Mountains
Moving Mountains Foods (www.movingmountainsfoods.com) is a ground-breaking British company leading the innovation in plant-based meat alternatives into unimagined territory. The brand was the first company to bring realistic plant-based meat to the UK and is still hungry for change, pioneering innovative products that taste amazing. By using simple and natural ingredients and incredible scientific methods, Moving Mountains products replicate real meat and fish in every way.
Moving Mountains Foods was founded in 2016 by Simeon Van der Molen who produced the innovative idea after he was diagnosed with high cholesterol and was forced to cut out meat and dairy or go on statins. Deflated with the lack of seriously tasty meat alternatives on the market, Simeon, who was already a sustainability driven entrepreneur, decided to focus on creating meat alternatives that taste, look, and satisfy cravings like animal meat. By doing this, he hoped to make real and long-lasting changes to human and environmental health, whilst protecting animal welfare. Moving Mountains was born.
Moving Mountains is a 100% British business and 100% independent. Unlike other plant-based meat brands outside of the UK, it has no shareholders from the meat industry.
