Rare Street Pilates, the independent studio founded by Nikkii Behrens, has won Studio of the Year at the 2026 OM Yoga & Lifestyle Awards, held at Alexandra Palace in London.
Based at Rütistrasse 2 in Rapperswil, Rare Street Pilates combines Reformer Pilates, mat Pilates and strength training, with classes designed to help people build strength, improve mobility and feel more confident in their movement.
The studio also offers Pilates teacher training, and Nikkii delivers online health and wellbeing programmes through Nikkii Health.
With more than a decade of experience in health and wellbeing, Nikkii has taught movement since 2015 and holds qualifications spanning holistic health coaching, nutrition, yoga, Pilates, sleep, sound therapy and Reiki.
She founded Nikkii Health in 2023 and opened Rare Street Pilates in 2024, all while working full-time and navigating new motherhood.
The award marks a significant milestone for Nikkii, recognising a business built around her belief that movement should be welcoming, enjoyable and part of a wider approach to long-term health and wellbeing.
Nikkii said:
“When I opened Rare Street Pilates, I wanted to create a place where people felt welcome, enjoyed moving and could build strength in a way that worked for them. We have put so much into making the studio what it is today, so to receive this award in London is something very special. I’m incredibly grateful to our team and everyone who has supported Rare from the beginning.”

Looking ahead, Nikkii added: “This award is a wonderful moment for us, but I really feel we’re only getting started. My ambition is to keep growing Rare Street Pilates and Nikkii Health so we can help more people find realistic ways to move, build strength and feel well in their everyday lives. Ultimately, that’s what matters to me: helping people feel better and live well for the long term.”
