Oliveira, with over two decades of experience in the reinsurance sector, joins the Ocean Re management team to lead brokerage relationships and contribute to the company’s continued growth and expansion in global markets.
With a distinguished career in leading companies in the industry, Simone Oliveira brings her experience in insurance brokerage and product portfolio design, as well as her knowledge of international markets. Before joining Ocean Re, Oliveira held leadership positions at Carpenter Marsh Fac of Marsh McLennan and Willis Towers Watson, where she demonstrated her ability to drive commercial success and strengthen client relationships.
Similarly, Oliveira has worked in various areas, from operations and strategy to brokerage and portfolio solutions, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, she has a strong academic background including an MBA in Strategic Service Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
In her new role as Global Chief Commercial Officer of Ocean Re, Simone Oliveira will work closely with the management team to develop effective commercial strategies, expand the company’s presence in diverse markets, and provide innovative and customized reinsurance solutions to clients.
