Shortlisted for this year’s National Pizza Awards, ALFI is known for its handcrafted Neapolitan pizzas, with their light, airy crusts, alongside an extensive menu of Italian favourites, fresh pasta, carefully selected wines and seasonal cocktails. Complete with one of Spitalfields Market’s largest heated, covered terraces and a calendar of creative workshops, it’s a place to gather, celebrate and make an occasion of it. This November and December, its experience offering gets a festive flourish with the arrival of Christmas wreath-making workshops.
Make a Christmas Wreath to Treasure
Bring a little festive flair to the season with ALFI’s hands-on wreath-making workshops, where guests can create a beautiful, generously sized Christmas wreath to display at home throughout the holidays.
Using a real moss wreath base and seasonal foliage, participants will be guided through creating their own wreath from scratch before choosing from a generous assortment of natural decorations to bring it to life. An elegant selection of dried orange slices, pine cones, mini baubles, tiny bells and ribbons will add colour, texture and festive detail.
Starting with a 30cm moss base and expanding to approximately 40–45cm once complete, with all the trimmings in place, each wreath becomes a beautiful, generously filled creation to display proudly on the front door throughout the Christmas season.
All materials are provided, along with a glass of prosecco to enjoy during the workshop. And for those wishing to make an afternoon or evening of it, ALFI’s Neapolitan pizzas, Italian dishes and seasonal drinks offer the perfect way to round off a festive outing.
