Family-friendly fun in London: Festive cheer and New Year adventures

London is sparkling with festive magic, and there’s no shortage of family-friendly activities to keep children — and adults — entertained this season and into the New Year. From immersive exhibitions to enchanted light trails and live concerts, the capital is bursting with experiences designed to create lasting memories.

Step into the Worlds of Pixar: Mundo Pixar Experience

Pixar fans can look forward to the Mundo Pixar Experience at Wembley Park, London, running from 13 February – June 2026. Following record-breaking success in Brazil, Mexico, Belgium, and Spain, this hugely anticipated multi-sensory exhibition invites families to explore 14 Pixar universes across more than 3,500 square metres.

Guests can shrink down to toy size in Andy’s Room (Toy Story), race into Flo’s Café (Cars), explore the Scare Floor with Mike and Sulley (Monsters, Inc.), soar through the skies with Carl Fredricksen (Up), and journey from the Land of the Living to the Land of the Dead (Coco). A special Pixar Ball Treasure Hunt adds a playful interactive element for visitors of all ages.

Tickets are £22–£45 depending on the day and time slot, and the exhibition is accessible for visitors with motor, hearing, visual, and neurodivergent disabilities. For full details and bookings, visit Mundo Pixar experience.

Frozen in Concert at Eventim Apollo

Just ahead of Christmas, families can get into the festive spirit at Frozen in Concert, taking place at Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, on 21 December 2025. The film’s multi-Platinum soundtrack, featuring eight songs by Academy Award®, Emmy®, and GRAMMY®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, will be performed live, including the Oscar®-winning and GRAMMY®-winning anthem Let It Go.

The story follows fearless optimist Princess Anna as she teams up with mountain man Kristoff and his reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped Arendelle in eternal winter. Encounter mystical trolls, treacherous conditions, and the hilarious snowman Olaf as Anna and Kristoff race to save the kingdom. Voices include Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Santino Fontana (Hans), and Alan Tudyk (Duke of Weselton).
