Hilton London Bankside isn’t only inviting guests to dine on some incredible offers this January, but in aid of Veganuary, the hotel has also collaborated with woven sculpturist Saskia Saunders, who specialises in creating art using only sustainable and plant-based materials.
Taking up residence in the hotel’s lobby, giving guests a private art display during their visit, Saunders will showcase two striking pieces – ‘Their Bravery Knew No End IV and V’ – both of which are completely plant-based, entirely natural and handwoven from linen, hemp and nettle yarns.
Visitors will be able to view the artist in residence until 31st January. Saunders collection of ‘Their Bravery Knew No End” is a poetic expression of gratitude for the gentle, yet powerful, trailblazers leading the way in tackling the current climate crisis. With Saunders focused on elevating sustainable and peaceful living, she is a perfect partner for the hotel to showcase her art throughout Veganuary.
