LEON turns regent street into a pop-up chippy for one weekend only

For one weekend only, LEON is bringing a taste of seaside nostalgia to the heart of London. On 14th and 15th March 2026, 275 Regent Street will be transformed into “The LEON Chippy”, a playful pop-up celebrating the return of one of the chain’s most beloved dishes: the Fish Finger Wrap.

Fans can expect a feel-good, nostalgia-filled experience with classic chippy details reimagined through LEON’s signature Naturally Fast Food lens. Alongside the star dish, the Chippy will serve waffle fries, crushed peas, and a choice of beer or a comforting cup of tea. To sweeten the weekend, the first 100 Fish Finger Wraps each day will be free, with guests also receiving a limited-edition pin badge and a seaside scratchcard offering prizes from free dishes to a year’s worth of LEON meals.

The Iconic Fish Finger Wrap

The Fish Finger Wrap is at the centre of LEON’s new Icon Dishes series, which revives classic menu favourites with improved flavour, better sourcing, and a chef’s touch. The wrap features a sustainably sourced pollock fish finger, peppery rocket, and LEON’s much-loved tartare sauce crafted with gherkins, capers, and fresh herbs. Baked, not fried, it provides a natural source of protein and omega-3s — familiar flavours handled with precision.

Founder John Vincent

Founder John Vincent said:
“This is the one dish I had in mind when we created LEON in 2004 and the first dish I wanted to bring back — and our guests wanted us to bring back. I will be first in line.”

The pop-up signals a fresh era for LEON as the brand reconnects with its roots while introducing new ideas. Following John Vincent’s return to the business in 2025 as founder and CEO, LEON is focusing on fresh flavours, seasonal ingredients, and purposeful sourcing, all in line with the philosophy that first defined the Naturally Fast Food pioneer.

The LEON Chippy will be open from 12 pm to 8 pm on 14th and 15th March 2026 at LEON Regent Street, 275 Regent St, London W1B 2HB.
