Own a match worn shirt & support The Royal British Legion

With Remembrance Day fast approaching, football fans all over the world will once again have the opportunity to raise money for the Royal British Legion whilst also getting their hands on a unique piece of their favourite club.

This year football will once more come together to show its support for the Armed Forces Community. Players in the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and Women’s Super League will proudly wear the poppy on their shirts in the buildup to Remembrance weekend.

Supporters have the chance to own these unique match-worn shirts, beautifully embossed with the poppy, through an online shirt auction with the funds raised going to the Royal British Legion.

All of the shirts will be player signed, making them an unrivalled piece of football fan memorabilia! The shirts will collectively be placed on auction, live from kick-off at matchwornshirt.co.uk/poppy. Last year Harry Kane, Jack Grealish, Bruno Fernandes and Alex Morgan topped the value charts, who it will be this year is up to you, the fans!

A SYMBOL OF HOPE AND REMEMBRANCE

The poppy is the enduring symbol of remembrance for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and also for those who continue to defend and improve our way of life today. This resilient flower flourished in the midst of destruction, becoming a symbol of hope and a peaceful future.

AT THE HEART OF SOCIETY FOR A CENTURY

This year marks the centenary of the Royal British Legion. For 100 years the Royal British Legion has cared for active and retired service personnel and their families by supporting them in a variety of ways.

To celebrate this milestone, fans will have the opportunity to bid on an additional range of exclusive prizes that have been kindly made available by The Royal British Legion’s partners and ambassadors. Interested? Simply head over to www.matchwornshirt.co.uk/poppy.

The Royal British Legion relies solely on the support of the public to provide lifelong support for both serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. Their lobbying and campaigning give the Armed forces community a voice, championing their interests to try and affect positive change.
