Pod, the leading EV charging provider, has been named title partner of Powered Up 2027, the fleet and clean mobility conference at Sea Containers, London, on Wednesday 20 January 2027. The event now runs as Powered Up 2027, brought to you by Pod.
“Every fleet is at a different stage of electrification, but the need is the same: one trusted partner to make the transition simple, support drivers through the switch and keep vehicles reliably charged. Whether fleet managers are thinking about energy management, charging speeds or driver reimbursement, bring those questions to Powered Up – Pod has the experience and expertise to help,”
said Melanie Lane, CEO of Pod.
Powered Up brings together the people funding, building and running the UK’s move to clean mobility: fleet operators, charging companies, funders and policymakers. It is built around one question: how can businesses electrify their fleets in this next phase of the UK’s transition? The answer is worked through in one room over one afternoon, with an opening keynote, five panels and capped numbers.
As title partner, Pod will deliver a keynote and case study, while also sharing insight on the panel dedicated to helping commercial fleets electrify. Pod’s team will also be in the room on the day, with commercial charging solutions on display in the breakout space.
Pod provides EV charging solutions for homes, businesses and fleets across the UK, uniquely placed to serve all types of commercial needs – from fleets that return to depots and employees charging at workplaces, to drivers that take their vehicles home overnight.
Following Pod’s recent acquisition of EO Charging, and its position in the wider EDF family, it has integrated its charging capabilities into a solution for businesses at any stage of their electrification journey, instead of the alternative – an ecosystem of fragmented solution providers and potentially stranded assets.
Pod’s status as title partner reflects where the Powered Up audience is right now: past the question of whether to go electric, and onto how to make it work day-to-day, for the long term.
“Every conversation we had at Powered Up this year came back to the same thing. Once a fleet decides to go electric, the hard part is the charging: getting power to the depot, choosing the right chargers and keeping the running costs down. Pod deals with that every day, which makes them the right name on the door for 2027. Having them as title partner puts the people solving that problem in the same room as the fleets who need it solved,”
said Harrison Hughes, Event Director, Powered Up.
Pod joins Close Brothers Asset Finance, who have backed Powered Up 2027 since launch day, and a programme that already includes Catherine Bowen (BVRLA), Ian Dennis (Zenobē), Olly Craughan (DPD UK), Sam Biggs (The AA), Lauren Pamma (Aldermore) and Dora Clarke (Osprey Charging). The afternoon is hosted by Gill Nowell.
Powered Up 2027 takes place on Wednesday 20 January 2027 at Sea Containers, London SE1 9PD. Numbers are capped and the 2026 event sold out ahead of the day. Tickets are on sale now from £99 at electraconnect.co.uk/powered-up.
