This December, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park unveils Winter Adventure – a new festive tradition designed to bring the Park to life with seasonal events, inviting visitors to explore its spaces in new ways while celebrating the spirit, creativity and vibrant communities of east London and the Park’s partners.
Running daily from Monday 1 December to Wednesday 24 December 2025, the programme will see a different door open each evening at 6:00pm, revealing a surprise festive moment at one of 24 locations across the Park. From Olympic and Paralympic venues to local restaurants, community hubs and East Bank’s cultural institutions, each unveiling brings its own distinct experience. The festivities will culminate in a musical finale on Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 12:00pm.
The free programme caters to all ages and interests, spanning live music, performances, art installations, community events, sporting activities and seasonal food and drink. Visitors can join creative workshops, enjoy sing-along evenings and browse festive markets, while sports enthusiasts are invited to take part in cycling, swimming or tennis sessions set to seasonal soundtracks. Throughout the month, community cafés, cultural organisations and sporting facilities will come together to create a celebration that captures the spirit of the Park.
Early highlights include Bobby Moore Academy’s Christmas Musical Extravaganza, the London College of Fashion’s Not Just a Shop evening, and UCL East’s Tinsel and Tunes. Later in the programme, visitors can enjoy the BIG Winter Market at Riverside East, a Crooner Christmas at Timber Lodge, family‑friendly activities such as meeting Santa at ASL Bridget’s Cafe or joining lantern parades through the Park and The Great Christmas Sleigh Off at the Build East Skills Centre.
