Why more women are turning to energy healing and spinal flow to reconnect with themselves

Why more women are turning to energy healing and spinal flow to reconnect with themselves

Alternative therapies are becoming more popular as people look for holistic ways to manage stress, overwhelm and physical tension.

From energy healing to spinal flow, many are exploring treatments that support both mind and body.

According to wellbeing practitioner Mandeep Kaur, this rise reflects a growing awareness that stress affects more than just physical health.

“So many people are living in survival mode without realising it,” she says. “They are holding onto emotional pain, trauma and overwhelm in the body, and eventually that begins to show up physically and mentally.”

What Is Spinal Flow?

Spinal flow is a nervous system based therapy designed to help the body release stored stress and tension.

It works by supporting the nervous system and encouraging the body’s natural healing response.

“Spinal flow helps the body identify and release blockages that may be disrupting its ability to regulate and heal,” says Mandeep.

She says clients often arrive feeling exhausted, tense or emotionally stuck.

“Many leave saying they feel lighter, calmer and more regulated.”

Why Energy Healing Is Growing in Popularity

Energy healing is also becoming more mainstream.

Many people use it to process emotional blockages, reconnect with themselves and improve their wellbeing.

While some still view it as niche, Mandeep says attitudes are changing quickly.

“People are far more open than they used to be,” she explains. “There is a growing understanding that healing is not just about the physical body. Emotional and energetic wellbeing matters too.”

Why People Seek Alternative Therapies

Clients often turn to these therapies during major life changes.

This may include divorce, grief, burnout, anxiety, career changes or emotional overwhelm.

For many, the appeal is addressing the root cause rather than simply managing symptoms.

“People are beginning to realise that constantly pushing through is not sustainable,” says Mandeep.

“They want to understand why they feel disconnected, why they are stuck in patterns, and why their body feels constantly tense.”

Alternative Therapies Are Becoming More Mainstream

Mandeep says one of the biggest misconceptions is that these treatments are only for highly spiritual people.

“The truth is you do not need to be spiritual to benefit,” she says.

“Many clients come simply because they know something feels off and they want support to feel better.”

As demand for holistic wellbeing continues to grow, events such as the annual Luxury Wellbeing Show are helping more people discover alternative therapies in a welcoming setting.

Now in its tenth year, the event brings together practitioners from across the wellbeing space and reflects the growing public appetite for whole-person wellness.

For Mandeep, the trend is clear.

“People are waking up to the fact that wellbeing is not one dimensional,” she says.

“Healing looks different for everyone, and more people are giving themselves permission to explore what truly helps them feel well.”
