Award-winning Alec’s Restaurant is hosting another spectacular summer BBQ party over the August Bank Holiday.
The extravaganza on Sunday August 24th and Monday 25th is between 1pm- 8pm and guests can choose from two carefully selected hand-picked menus.
To complement the occasion top singer Keeley Smith, a finalist in ITV’s Starstruck, will be back by popular demand headlining the live entertainment on the day.
Diners will be served outside in the garden, eating in front of the stage and can choose from the luxury menu at £115 per person or the exclusive menu at £85 per head. In addition any guests inside the restaurant, dining off the regular menu, will have the opportunity of buying concert tickets for the party for just £35 each.
The outdoor bar will also be serving a selection of fabulous cocktails and mocktails

“Our chefs have put together an incredible menu which will be accompanied by our superb range of wines and cocktails.
“I really can’t wait to get the party started because it’s going to be a fabulous weekend of great entertainment, fine dining and excellent service which we pride ourselves on.”
The luxury menu starters include tuna tataki, John Ross’s hot smoked salmon, octopus carpaccio and Cornish crab and prawn tian.

One of the main courses from the barbeque is the seafood platter which includes half a lobster, monkfish and black tiger prawn on a skewer and steamed Shetland mussels.
The exclusive menu includes Alec’s favourite prawn cocktail, Parma ham mozzarella and heritage tomatoes and a classic steak tartare.
For mains there is a choice of Dedham vale beef medallion, harissa marinated chicken skewer, Dingley Dell smoked pork & Italian sausages or chilli and garlic jumbo tiger prawns, Scottish salmon and king scallops skewer, with steamed Shetland mussels.
For sweets, you can choose between Eton-mess, Valrhona chocolate mousse or pear and almond bakewell pudding.
It is the third year in a row that Alec’s, in Navestock Side, Brentwood, have staged a summer party and this year looks like being bigger and even better than before so it’s better to book ahead than be disappointed.

Currently, Alec’s are also serving up champagne brunches on the terrace every Friday, until the end of August, from 10am -12 noon, featuring mouth watering dishes like eggs benedict, kedgeree, full English and avocado on toast to whet your appetites.
