Quadrata Pizzeria: Where Quality and Authenticity Meet

Quadrata Pizzeria: Where Quality and Authenticity Meet

Let me start by saying that Quadrata Pizzeria is not your ordinary pizza joint. It’s a game-changer. I had the pleasure of trying several slices (or should I say many) of their Pizza Al Taglio, and it was like nothing I’d ever tasted before. The square-shaped slices, which are known for their lightness and digestibility, were cooked to perfection and served with premium Italian toppings that made my taste buds sing. I tell you what, I even came back the following day for more!

First, let’s talk about La Bianca, my personal favourite, which is a traditional pizza from Rome. This slice is as simple as it gets – just extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, and rosemary. You can eat it like that, or you can add any of your favourite toppings at home. I have to admit, you might be a little sceptical at first because it sounds too simple. But when you take a bite, you will be blown away by the flavours. The crust is crispy yet fluffy, and the combination of rosemary and olive oil gives it an aromatic and earthy flavour that makes it hard to stop at just one slice.

The Margherita is a classic, and Quadrata’s version did not disappoint. The tomato sauce was sweet, and the fior di latte cheese was creamy, with a hint of saltiness that balanced out the sweetness of the sauce. It was a simple yet satisfying slice that I could eat every day.

Now, let’s talk about the Inferno. This slice is not for the faint of heart, as it’s topped with tomato sauce, spicy salami, fresh jalapeno, and parmesan cheese. The combination of the spicy salami and fresh jalapeno gave it a kick, and the tomato sauce and parmesan cheese added a depth of flavour that complemented the heat. This slice was a showstopper, and I found myself going back for seconds.

The Capri is another one of Quadrata’s signature slices, and it’s easy to see why. It’s topped with tomato sauce, anchovies, stracciatella, kalamata olives, demi-sec tomatoes, capers, and oregano. The saltiness of the anchovies paired well with the creaminess of the stracciatella, and the capers and olives added a briny flavour that made this slice unique. The demi-sec tomatoes gave it a sweetness that balanced out the saltiness of the other toppings. It was a complex and flavorful slice that left me wanting more.

The Tre Formaggi is another one of Quadrata’s must-try slices. It’s topped with fior di latte, gorgonzola, pecorino, walnuts, fig jam, black pepper, and rosemary. This slice was a symphony of flavours, with the creaminess of the fior di latte and gorgonzola, the nuttiness of the pecorino and walnuts, and the sweetness of the fig jam. The black pepper and rosemary added a hint of spice and herbaceousness that tied everything together. This slice was a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savoury.

The Bologna slice is a tribute to the city of Bologna, Italy, and it’s topped with fior di latte, mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio, and balsamic glaze. The mortadella was thinly sliced and had a delicate flavour that paired well with the creaminess of the stracciatella. The pistachio added a crunch that gave this slice a unique texture, and the balsamic glaze tied everything together with a tangy sweetness that complemented the other flavours.

The Gircia is another standout slice, topped with fior di latte, pancetta, pecorino, parsley, balsamic glaze, and rosemary. The pancetta was crispy and savoury, and the pecorino added a salty tanginess that worked well with the creamy fior di latte. The balsamic glaze and rosemary gave it a sweet and herbaceous flavour that rounded out the slice. This was another great example of how Quadrata combines flavours to create unique and delicious slices.

Now, let’s talk about the Pizzella – the dessert pizza that is a must-try. It’s made with a spread of Nutella and hazelnuts, and it’s the perfect end to any meal. The pizza was crispy on the outside, with a warm and gooey Nutella centre. The hazelnuts added a crunchy texture that complemented the creamy Nutella. It was like eating a warm Nutella croissant in pizza form – need I say more?

Aside from the delicious pizza, one thing that stood out to me about Quadrata was the commitment to authenticity and quality. The ingredients were sourced from Italy, and each slice was made to order with attention to detail. The low-carb sourdough crust was unique and made the pizza light and easy to digest, which is perfect for those who want to enjoy more than one slice.  The staff and owner were all welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.

In terms of drinks, Quadrata sources their drinks from Baladin, an Italian brand, and they were simple and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the cola, which had a subtle sweetness and fizziness that paired well with the pizza.

Finally, I have to mention the convenience of Pizza Al Taglio. It’s a great way to share food and have a variety of options, which is what many do in Italy when watching sports matches together or an exciting event. Quadrata offers options for vegans, vegetarians, and pescatarians, making it an inclusive spot for everyone to enjoy.

In conclusion, Quadrata Pizzeria is a must-try for any pizza lover in London. The square-shaped slices, the variety of toppings, the cosy atmosphere, and the friendly staff make it a great spot to grab a slice or two. Each slice is made with high-quality ingredients, and the low-carb sourdough crust makes it light and easy to digest. From the classic Margherita to the unique and flavorful Tre Formaggi, each slice is a work of art that is meant to be savoured. And let’s not forget about the Pizzella – the perfect end to any meal. So, head on over to Quadrata Pizzeria and experience the deliciousness for yourself.
