Share the love, go Vegan and eat for free this Valentine’s with Moving Mountains and Kua ‘Aina

Go Vegan this Valentine’s with a free Moving Mountains burger at Kua ‘Aina

Moving Mountains, the pioneering British company leading the innovation in plant-based meat alternatives has teamed up with legendary Hawaiian lava grill restaurant, Kua ‘Aina, this Valentine’s period, to offer people a free Moving Mountains Burger, usually £9.95, when they opt to switch out their meat burger for the plant-based alternative.

With only 100 free Moving Mountains Burgers available each day, the initiative comes at a time when many people will be choosing to cook at home this Valentine’s Day rather than eating out in order to save money, but now they don’t need to because the limited time offer will be available between 13-19th February 2023 on a first come, first served basis, as both a dine in and take out option at Kua ‘Aina’s Carnaby restaurant in London (26 Foubert’s Place, Carnaby, W1F 7PP).

Research suggests that Brits collectively eat 2.5 billion beef burgers a year but if we cut our consumption by just a fifth, we would save the equivalent CO2 emissions of driving 27 billion fewer miles in a car. So, by going vegan and eating for free this Valentine’s Day, diners will not only be sharing the love with each other but with the environment too!

Moving Mountains is on a mission to move three ‘mountains’ around taste, the environment, and our health. Firstly, it is leading a plant-based revolution through great taste innovation to ensure the market offers truly delicious plant-based meat alternatives. Secondly, Moving Mountains wants to improve food sustainability and food waste through the products it offers and the way it makes them. And thirdly, the brand has a passion to enhance human health and increase animal welfare through its range of plant-based products which are better for everyone.

The brand also doesn’t sacrifice quality or sustainability. Moving Mountains’ products require 92% fewer emissions and 70% less water than their meat equivalent, and the company sources its ingredients carefully and sustainability for the best health of the planet. The packaging is also 100% recyclable, and because the range is frozen, Moving Mountains can contribute to reducing the UK’s estimated 10 million tonnes of food waste, with the extended products’ shelf life.

Eloise Bristow, Head of Marketing at Moving Mountains says: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Kua ‘Aina on this exciting giveaway. We know that food is the way to people’s hearts and our famous plant-based bleeding burger has been known to convince even the most committed carnivores, so there seemed no better way than to show our own love than to offer everyone a deliciously, free burger this Valentines, whilst also supporting the environment”.

Ed Bardos, Founder of Kua ‘Aina says: “We have consistently been voted as one of London’s best burgers and we are delighted to share some of our epic lava grill love with even more people this Valentine’s week with the support of Moving Mountains. Not only are we serious about our burgers and grilled sandwiches but we are serious about the environment that we serve and we are proud to have such an inspiring brand to partner with on such an exciting initiative”.
