Located in the state of Baja California Sur, Los Cabos is Mexico’s fastest-growing destination. Here’s the latest information on three of the six highly anticipated openings:

Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos – opening November 21st 2023

Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos will open this year on the 21st November, as the third property of Velas Resorts, on the prestigious Tourist Corridor of Los Cabos.

This adults-only, luxury boutique hotel will feature 79 suites, all of which are over 888 sq. ft and equipped with everything travellers may need, including exclusive facilities and amenities that takes the best of the Grand Velas brand and elevates it to a level never seen before.

Enjoy casual and fine dining restaurants, including an Asian fusion eatery created by two-Michellin-Star Chef Sidney Schutte, indoor and outdoor event spaces, a wellness centre, an infinity pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez, and a hyper personalised service that will leave even the most experienced travellers speechless.

What’s more, guests will have complete access to all the restaurants of the sister resort, Grand Velas Los Cabos, where they can enjoy a further five impressive eateries.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol – opening early 2024

Poised to open early 2024, the brand-new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas, will be the second hotel in Los Cabos belonging to the much-loved Four Seasons brand.

The modern hacienda-style village will be situated in Cabo Del Sol, Cabo’s Golden Corridor where Mexico chic meets a cool Mediterranean vibe and will be made up of 96 guest rooms and suites, plus 61 residences, villas and estates – all with sparkling views of the Sea of Cortez.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a variety of activities on-property and off, including world-class golf at the Cabo Del Sol golf course, a full-service luxury Spa, water activities from the swimmable beach that provides plenty of whale sighting opportunities in winter and spring, and world-class dining from global pioneer of contemporary Latin cuisine, Richard Sandoval.

The resort expects to launch reservations in late October 2023 and is already taking group and wedding inquiries for 2024 and beyond.

 

Park Hyatt Los Cabos – opening July 2024

Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol is set to open in Summer 2024 and will be the first Park Hyatt hotel in Mexico.

Located 15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, and 40 minutes from San Jose’s International Airport, and within the exclusive community of Cabo del Sol, this lavish, master-planned golf resort stretches along two miles of pristine beach, offering sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez.

The luxury resort will boast 163 ocean-view guestrooms and suites, 19 villas and residences, stunning pools, a world-class golf course, a full-service spa, an impressive 59,000 sq. ft. fitness and wellness centre, plus 35,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meetings and events spaces.
